Spring Time and Paint
April 16th, 2010It’s finally Springtime here at Crestridge, all the flowers are blooming, the sky is especially blue, and the only thing missing is all of your smiling faces! Our construction crews are finishing up the little details to the cabins which included the painting of the outside walls. Everything looks so fresh and it sure is getting us pumped up about spending the summer with all of you, so get here already! Here are some pictures of Crestridge in the Springtime, enjoy!

I can’t wait for this summer!! The cabins look AWESOME, but are they going to stay that beige color or be painted according to village?

at my school we walk around the lake that is near us and on our way around we sing campfire songs!!!! its sooooooo much fun!!!i cant wait to see your smiling faces either!!!!!!! i miss you all soo much and signing up for skills just makes me even more excited!!!!!! i miss you chey 10!!!!!! but im a choctaw this year!! i cant wait for sockwar and diomad smuggling and night of chaos…. and well whatever you all have planned for us this year!!!!! i cant wait!!!

The cabins will all stay the same color, but the cabin signs will all be painted according to their designated Village color.

Hanna it is my first year of being a chickasaw!!!!!!!!!! I am hoping that my counselors are coming back. One of them is getting married!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my goodness only 53 more days till we will be pulling in those oh so familar yet remarkable gates that open into a camp that has a place in each and everyone of our hearts. I cannot wait till june 13 when I will wake up at five o’clock to start a series of events that will shape my summer, my childhood, and even who I am.

CCCCHOCTTTAW-CHOCTAW-choctaw-hey!Choctaw 2010 baby!!!I am super duper excited for camp! Hopefully this year my cabin will be at the bottom of the hill.lol. This year has very high expectations. It may be hard to beat the excellent experience with Choctaw 17 1a 2009…It was the bomb!

Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!! i cant wait till camp im goin to be a choctaw this year but i dont want to climb all those stairs. oh well i just cant wait im bugging my mom about it lol cant wait till session 2b see you soon CAMP CRESTRIDGE.:)

Why cant camp crestridge last all year. I mean are geometry exams, fcats, and SATs really all that important. We could have our own exams, and count sock war as a grade. Oh what a world that would be!

I can hardly contain my excitement!!! This my first year to be a counselor at Crestridge. I have never been to this camp before, or to North Carolina so I am totally excited! I can’t wait to meet all of the staff and campers that I will be spending time and having fun with this summer. ONLY 7 WEEKS AND 2 DAYS TO GO!!! Or in other calculations, JUST 51 DAYS TO GO!!!

ONLY 30 days left of school YAY!!!!! Im going to b a choctaw again and will love it. I loved my cabin last year, Choctaw 16 2a. But, hopefully, this year will b even better. I’m actually going to 1b this year and I’m so excited. For all you new campers or counselors out there, don’t worry you are going to love camp. Everyone is so open and it is like one big happy family. Camp is what keeps me going all year.

The cabins are amazing!!!! I can not wait!! This is my third year! It will be awesome! CHOCTAW!! But I got to wait til the last session. But I know it will be worth it!!

We dont get out of school till june 9, but as soon as we do get out I am heading up to be a choctaw 1a again! This is my fourth year, I am super excited!
