The 75th summer of Camp Ridgecrest saw Camp add a new dock system to its lake. The impressive L shaped dock combined the swim area, rope swing, and tower all in one centralized place one the lake. With the new tower there was the need for a new Blob, a floating air pillow that launches campers into the air so they can dive into the lake by another camper jumping on it. Camp’s Administration approached Camp Ridgecrest Alumni & Friends, Inc. about the need for a new Blob and the association came through, allowing Camp to have two Blobs floating in the lake by the summer of 2003.
