Entrance Sign Project

It became apparent to Camp’s Administration and to Camp Ridgecrest Alumni & Friends, Inc. that Camp Ridgecrest needed a more professional front entrance and a sign to mark what was concealed behind a row of fir trees. Over the course of the year the association raised a total $7000 for the new sign and entrance, a substantial feat for the fledgling organization. Although the front entrance design had to be modified from its original design due to DOT concerns, the sign now proudly guards the entrance to camp. The sign was framed with a wooden split rail fence and dedicated at the 70th summer of Camp.
